Does Padma's Plantation® Sell to the Public?

Padma's Plantation® is a Wholesaler; accordingly, we can only sell to authorized retailers and designers. What Are the Requirements for Opening New Accounts?

We ask that you print our CREDIT APPLICATION, provide all required information, SIGN IT, and fax it to us at (630) 761-3130 with a copy of your Resale Certificate.

We will conduct a credit investigation, and notify you of the terms assigned to your account. Our standard terms of sale are NET 30 DAYS, to accounts whose account balances are in good standing.

Is There a Minimum Order Amount?

There are no minimum purchase requirements to place an order with Padma's Plantation®. You can also read more about Quantity Discounts.

Does Padma's Plantation® Drop Ship?

Padma's Plantation® can drop ship to any address within the United States. Residential orders generally incur an additional $75 delivery fee. Inside deliveries, deliveries with special instructions and deliveries to the Florida Keys may also incur additional charges.

What Are the Normal Shipping Charges?

LTL Shipments (Common Carrier)
Our standard freight rates are 17% of the invoice value or $85 (whichever is greater). A $9 per skid (pallet) is also accessed to each order. (Quick formula to calculate your freight charges -- if your order is below $500, your freight costs will be $85, plus any additional pallet charges. Freight on orders over $500 is calculated at 17% of the shipment value, plus applicable pallet charges.)

FedEx Shipments
Products that meet the FedEx package requirements will be shipped via FedEx Ground, unless we receive special shipping instructions. The FedEx shipping charges will depend on the size and weight of the products shipped (the $85 minimum freight charge does not apply when we ship via FedEx).

What Is the Lead-Time to Fulfill My Order?

Items on the Padma's Plantation® Quick Ship list will normally ship within 3-5 business days or less. Please refer to the Quick Ship page for the most updated list. Non-stock items will be ordered to meet your specifications and will generally be ready to ship within 12 weeks from the date of your order. Padma's Plantation® does maintain minimum stock levels of some non-stocking items, please call us at (800) 753-9190 for stock availability or to receive a copy of the Quick Ship list.

Does Padma's Plantation® Offer Quantity discounts?

Customers qualifying for the Padma's Plantation® Stocking Dealer Program can receive 20% discount on all orders. To become a Stocking Dealer you are required to place an initial opening order greater than $3,000 (at stocking pricing), and maintain annual purchases of $5,000.

Padma's Plantation also offers an additional discount for Customers interested in purchasing full containers of product. Prices are 40% off the Stocking Dealer Prices, FOB (Free on Board) - the applicable port of export (Indonesia or China). These prices apply to all size containers orders, 20', 40', 40'HC and 45'.

What is the Padma's Plantation® Return Policy?

Padma's Plantation® takes great pride in the quality of our merchandise. Our furniture is manufactured to very exacting guidelines to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your new furniture.

All product returns must be approved in writing and are subject to a 20% restocking fee plus freight charges. Return freight costs must be prepaid. Please contact Padma's Plantation® if you are not satisfied with your Padma's Plantation® order.

Can Padma's Plantation® Manufacture Furniture Using Customer Materials (C.O.M.)?

Padma's Plantation® is able to produce furniture using customer owned material on any of its items with fabrics. C.O.M. items are priced at the same level as the premium fabric price level. There is a 30 piece same item minimum.

Does Padma's Plantation® Have a Showroom?

Yes, Padma's Plantation® has several showrooms. Please feel free to call us at (800) 753-9190 and we will direct you to one of the showrooms in your area. Our newest showroom is at our headquarters in Batavia, IL and is by appointment only.

Can I Place My Padma's Plantation® Furniture Outdoors?

Padma's Plantation® furniture is generally manufactured for indoor use only and we do not Recommend putting our furniture outside. We now offer an outdoor line which can be viewed on our website.
